i might be ignorant

i see all these "pairs" of snakes for sale and it seems like they are probably from the same parents cause they say they have the parents pictured. so then they are probably not intended to breed but is that actually the case or are some of them from different parents? if they are related do they intend you to breed them? i know that inbreeding is a common thing in many other species "ball pythons" but do pit people do the same thing?
just wondering

I think you and I are the only ones in the hobby that think inbreeding is a bad idea. Everyone seems to think it's fine because it happens in nature anyway. Well, it happens in nature with every animal out there, for crying out loud. That doesn't make it right.

To answer your question - yea I think inbreeding in captivity happens with every snake species. Makes me sad.

A few generations of inbreeding isn't usually dangerous. But it is encouraged to breed out eventually to strenghten the line or to not inbreed them at all. All morphs that are recessive genes (albino, white sided, snow) come from inbreeding. There is no other way to continue the morph. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm not a breeder.

So it is natural. We agree.

Why are you so against it? You state an opinion with nothing to help us understand why.
