We were expecting just two, maybe three, and just reds. Turns out that the stud we used has a black & tan grandparent. The two dark pups are probably Sesames. Red with lots of black tipping. They can look even more fox like, Cool!

Stella has a sister named Jade that is practically a twin. She whelped 3 pups last week.
Awesome pics, and big congrats on the litter! I used to keep their wild ancestor, the New Guinea Singing Dog, and had a couple of puppies born to them. I was forced to find them a new home after an incident involving the male and my big birds. Anyway, see where the Shibas get their foxy appearance?
