i think youll find as you have your caiman longer, that it will want more land area and plenty of hiding places. my dwarf spends most of the day buried in his hide, and emerges at night to eat and wreak havoc on the cricket population. you said yourself you have a larger enclosure, its definatly going to need it, and sooner than you think. it looks like you have a healthy little palpebrosus, just keep asking questions and checking out how others are keeping theirs and youll be fine. there are plaenty of other expert types here that can help you when you have any questions or issues. welcome to the croc club, haha
