Its not really too far off topic...I was at my local pet store here in great Newberg, Oregon, when low and behold....Robin Williams rides by on a bike.
The store is in our small "down town" area, and my daughter and her two friends tore off out of the store to "confirm" the initial sighting. They then came back in to promptly retrieve paper and a pen to get an autograph.
One of the pet store employees went out as well, and somehow managed to attach one of the Sugar Gliders she was carrying in her pouch to his arm! He asked if she had info on these animals and she turned on a heel and headed back into the store!
He looked at me, and in slight desperation, ask if I could remove this animal (now holding on for dear life to his forearm) from him. I gladly grabbed the sugar glider (who pooped on him) and plopped him back into the employees pouch. We spoke briefly of the exotic animals the store carried, and in the end he gave me a strong hand shake and went on his way.
As he was walking away, he turned and said "it was nice to meet you girls" (It was just me and the kids now) "see you later".
I advised that I had plenty of fun animals at my house....and that he was welcome at any time!!!!
It was truely exciting! I can't thank my ANIMALS enough! If not for them, I would have never been there...Squig's crixs are even better now!
