Hypo Honduran and didn't know it?

blueharlequin Sep 08, 2006 11:53 PM

Hey folks.
Someone define Hypo Honduran for me.
Well, put it this way... I'm hardly a newbie, I know what it means, but up until now I've only really dealt with the amel and anery gene types.
But I just hatched out some babies.. some of them have a real browny-grey sheen to their black stripes, and one of them has that almost waxy, not-a-black-scale-tip-in-sight look to the orange portions. No pin-striping, but these do not look like quite like any babies I've hatched out before...

The father was het anery, and the mother was well, the father's daughter (my 100% het anery female wasn't too keen on breeding this year, so I paired up the father with his 50% het anery daughter.) But now I'm starting to wonder whether the father might not have been hypo as well.

I'll try to get some pics up asap.

Obviously that should read:
"But now I'm starting to wonder whether the father might not have been HET hypo as well."
