O/T Meet the baby!

niki_athena Sep 09, 2006 12:50 AM

Hello,

I've been busy so much with my little one and housecleaning. I have like got nothing done and haven't been visiting. Her name is Aspen and she is 6 months old in the picture where she is meeting another baby. A cute little wandering garter snake my husband caught and released. I have seen some baby "blue bellies" in the yard. Ezra is alright at the moment (my sweet cb collared lizard).

I do worry about to little or too much humidity. To little my baby Aspen gets eczema to much and my Ezra's health might fail. Aspen thinks Ezra is a toy she can't play with!

Sincerely,
Nicole

I didn't realize that people were really waiting to see her on the forum

I feel like a changed person since I've had her.

Nice being in the forum again.

Good to see you posting again. Thank you for sharing your future herper with us. I am sure I am not the only one looking forward to postings about her first field excursions. I have enjoyed your field pics in the past. My wife is expecting our first born in late Oct. My wife is not a herper herself and she has a particular phobia about lizards but she allows me to indulge my interests.

Thanks for the last email, I did feel something was wrong about what I did but my husband helped push me to that decision; however, I do think they are doing alright.

It is so much work to have a baby. I was like "hey I can post again" but then she would change and everything would change again. But I really have more time on my hands now that she is a little more independent.

It is to bad your wife doesn't enjoy fieldherping, maybe she go to look at the wildflowers instead.

I am just loving being a mom now. I still like collared lizards. I find myself being drawn more and more to snakes...

Big S little s What begins with s? Six slithering snakes sliding silently southward!

Since my last posting on Garter Snakes, I got a reply from b1eager. We met field herping, he has a daughter named Aspen who is so cute too. What a coincidence
