help placing probe in BOAPHILE cage

albinorosy Sep 09, 2006 01:24 PM

can a few of you experienced keepers please give me a hand in where best to locate the thermostat probes in my boaphile cage. (Do I put them directly on the heat source, dangle them above the source, attach to a side or back wall, etc?) Also the best way you found to attach the probe cords to the cage. much appreciation!

I put it where Jeff told me to. Under the cage from the back and up against the heat tape. I have a few in a stack and the temps have been perfect. I have the probe in the middle of the stack.

thanks, but you must have a recess under the cage to accomodate the probe. my boaphile is flat bottomed with the heat sandwiched inside.

nope no recessed bottom but the probe isn't very big so the cages still lay flat.
