Rocks as substrate??

Would it be possible to use pea gravel, or the gravel used in aquariums as substrate for a BCI?

You CAN, but it doesnt mean you should. I can thank of a few reasons against usuing it and only one reasopn why anyone would want to.

When they built new enclosures for large snakes (adult retics, rocks, burms, anacondas) they used river stone as gravel/bedding.
