... With some of the Kingsnake.com Kingsnake forum posters today. I met up with Steve Craig, Phil Patton, and Ralph Mills in Prince George County, VA. We herped from Petersburg to Emporia --- but did not find anything worth mentioning. We did have a good time though and it was nice to meet up with some other posters. Here is a shot of Ralph uncovering a nice Black Racer...

Thanks Peter. Had a great time yesterday. It was great to see you again, as well as meeting Phil and Ralph for the first time. No kings yesterday, but that eastern garter with his mouth locked in the open position made for some excellent pics.

i was in my backyard this morning and saw this giant (thought) Gopher tortoise till i went over to him and saw a husky African spur thigh cruising my fence line.COOL!

Man, I wish I lived closer to you guys so I could go herping. The thought of catching an eastern...
Florida's got some great herps but where I live in Central Florida there's no where to go--everything is leveled. I gotta get out of here one day. North Florida's pretty nice and has lots of land left to explore.
