onenicesnake Sep 09, 2006 08:00 PM

Does anybody out there have any leads on where I can find someone who has albino nelsoni that have the "bullseye" pattern.Where have they all gone? I remember a couple of years back they were pretty common. I haven`t seen any for a while. If anyone out there can give me any leads on where to start my search I would be very greatful.

There still around..just not many breeding them it seems, being a line trait they can be frustrating at times..I produce a handfull each year just for fun.. Having good patterned animals is best but not required..it seems luck of the draw is just as important..I have produced outstanding bullseyes from decent animals and terrible ones from killer parents and vice versa. Line traits are frustrating that way, this is probably why you don't see many producing them anymore.

the Bull’s-eye trait manifest it’s self to varying degrees. To get super reduced bull’s-eyes requires selective line breeding. Most of us that have stuck with the Nelson’s/Sinaloan’s are concentrating on other traits right now. I still think a nice albino Nelson’s is one of the most beautiful snakes around (good disposition too).
