Gecko Set Loose in my House!

ibrakeforfrogs Sep 09, 2006 10:41 PM

As a stupid drunken prank, my boyfriend caught one of the many geckos that live on our front porch and released it in my kitchen. We live in Key West and I believe it is just a common House Gecko. I have found several very very small geckos in our house before (about 1 inch in length, not much longer), but this one he released is at least three inches. He took off under the fridge and I can't imagine I'm going to be able to catch him. Will he be able to survive in my house?? I have several pet geckos and couldn't imagine them being able to find enough food around the place. Any thought on this or how to catch him??

yes.. the gecko should thrive in your house.. provided that he can eat alot of bugs.. a good way to ensure that .. is leave your porch light on.. light atracts moths, moths atract hungrey geckos..
