qt. tub size?

derekdehaas Sep 09, 2006 10:59 PM

hi, i just need to know what would be the good qt. tub size for adult corn? so i can go ahead and buy a rack for the corns. i will also order a 41 qt rack for the brooks kingsnake since they are bigger than corns.
thanks

I use racks from Animal Plastics. Each shelf holds a 32qt sterilite inserted sideways or two 15qt boxes inserted lengthwise. I like this design because one rack can house adults and sub-adults. The 32qt boxes are very common for adult corns and other species. Some breeders like to use a slightly larger box like the 41qt that you mentioned. I don't think it's necessary.

thanks,
so i guess i will pick up some 32 qt. rack for corns, why do you think the 41 qt rack are not necessary? i always knew that 41 qt will not be use with my corns it's just too big, however for the brooks kingsnake and tawian beauty snakes do need 41 qt i am pretty sure they do i am not sure yet. anyway i have been conisdering ap racks, reptile basics racks or nsreptiles "snake shacks" racks not sure yet but i do own 4 ap cages, awsome cages. again thanks any more info i will be happy to hear.
