new baby beardie

mlove Sep 10, 2006 04:16 PM

Hi, I've been lurking on the forum for months but since I bought our new baby beardie two weeks ago I figured I'd introduce Spike. I'm not sure if Spike is a male or female but they said the morph was a Blood Sandfire cross. Any ideas what that will look like as an adult? I'd love to see photos if anyone has any. I saw an older clutch from the same parents and they had darker red lines down the side. Very nice looking but not the bright red that the petstore said it would look like as an adult. Any idea if even they labeled the morph correctly?

Thanks, it's nice to have a baby in the house again. Many years ago I had a normal beardie and although I loved him he did not have the personality that this little one has.

Thanks! I thought he was cute and it looks like he is smiling alot. He is very friendly also. The person who hatched him must have handled him a bit. Luckily he has not tried to bite yet.
