glass cleaning?

zillamonster Sep 10, 2006 05:51 PM

i've got 6ft tall 8ft wide iguana enclosure with a front made up mostly of glass windows. over time the water from spraying has left VERY stubborn hard water deposits. what is the best way to remove this? obviously my first consideration is not using something that will leave a chemical residue or fumes that can make my iguana sick, but anything that will dissipate within a few hours will be ok as i can move him into another room for a day.

I use Windex, vinager based not ammonia and have no problems with any hard water spots.

Good Luck

windex doesn't want to get this stuff off. surely there's something more specific to hard water stains? my geckos tanks have the same problem and what a PITA it is cleaning them. (they never actually get totally clean)
