decisions, decisions......

This is my first year to breed boas and I can't make up my mind.I have a big (8.5 ft) female albino and seem to have three choices. Should it be a ghost for triple hets? Should it be another albino? Or should it be a dh sunglow? How would everyone vote?

I would go for the ghost to make triple hets. And I would send me a few for the free advice

I hear ya! But these will have to be sold, except for a few, or my fiance will kill for spending the money lol! Seriously though, I'm trying to figure out which would sell best next year. Who knows, I may not have a successful breeding and it won't matter.

The tripple hets will sell best. Thats what breeders will be craveing and thats whos buying the morphs. And the "few" that you dont sell can be the"few" you send me :D

As you stated, this is your first time breeding. This means that you haven't yet established any customer relations, weather good or bad. This could help you to decide your direction, for example:
If I were to buy any hets, DH's, or triple hets, I'd probably do my shopping with a well known name in the hobby, because their are alot of scammers out there. Now if I've seen a persons name bouncing around on the forums and classifieds for awhile, but really don't know anything about them, then I'll go to the BOI on another site and see if they have any negative/positive feedback from their prevoius sales.
Being that you're a new breeder, you may need to get your feet wet by starting out with a little "lower end" (moneywise) animals that are visually obvious instead of going right for the triple het market. You may find it to be harder selling the TH's and wind up lowering your prices just to move them out. It doesn't take long to get a good reputation if you are a good seller.
Helpful tips: It's always good to take lots of pics of the breedings, and if possible, the birth. also good to visit and comment on the forums just to get your name more familiar with others who are viewing frequently.
I'm not going to say what you should breed, but think about what your goals are in doing so, and the best way to achieve them. Good luck. David
