I am building an outdore enclosure, At this time it is for a long term rehab project of mine for a Western Pond Turtle. My plan is similar to the one pictured a few posts down. The enclosure will be 5 feet wide and 20 feet long using walls that are 18" high I am not much worried about a cover as I am very confident the dog will not let and prediters in the yard and my dog was rased on and loves herps so he will not bother it. The pond will be about 100G in size "sorry I dont have the exact mesurments off hand" Is there anythign ells I should consider while constructing this enclosure? Pond Turtles are native to my area so I only plan on having native vegitation in the enclosure. The turtle was taken from the wild several years ago and has been maintained on raw ground beef all this time "I know I know I already told them how wrong they are" My hope is to get this thing back to at the very least a normal diet and then maybe considering seting it free. I have not yet observed it but I am told ground beef is all the indevidual will eat so I will have to report back on that. Anyway thanks in advance.
