NY finds. Lifers and a Perfect Timber!!

Matt Harris Sep 11, 2006 07:26 AM

Got out this weekend. A few firsts on Saturday. 3 copperheads, skinks, and 4 timbers on Sunday.

here are the first non-DOR copperheads I've seen in NY.

and a screamer...

AND the first 5-lined skinks I've ever seen....

....and Sunday's finds

another angle...

AND NOW......THE MOST PERFECT YELLOW TIMBER I've ever seen!!! The color and pattern just blew me away. I couldn't pull myself away from this snake for a good 20 minutes.

another shot...

And...yet another I saw that day.

It's about time with the copperhead's, nice finds. You had a great week-end, wish I could have been there. If not for the snakes, at least the hand-holding and frolicking.....HA!
Now for the people reading, I'm just funnin' him....not that there's anything wrong with THAT.
Shoot me an E about the questions on the post below. I'd like to get my deposits in sooner than later this time.
