depends on what carpet you get. coastals can grow up to 12', while most Irian Jaya's stay around 5-6'. jungles grow between the two in size. which were you thinking of?

Why may you be interested in breeding something you know nothing about?

How about learning about them, keeping them, and then considering breeding them if you have nice specimens, and if there is a market for them. A good size would be between 36x18x18 for an Irian Jaya to 48x24x24 from a coastal. They can be kept in rubbermaids on heatpads up to about 6 foot. They require minimal additional or specific husbandry. Irian's 4-6 , jungles 6-8 , coastals 8-10 .
