I guess alot would have to do with room size ect.
Our snake room is 12X14 and we run one unit made by Holmes*
Got'em awhile back at Target on a 2 fer deal. They work great!!
"ONLY" negitive is the filters that fit them are off the shelves now and purchaseing replacements are a PITA !!We have to purchase others and then cut them to fit.The water treatment is rotated every few tanks to keep the scum buildup down.
So..... I would recommend just about any unit that runs a "square" type filter.Oversize filters can be reduced and the round ones can be split and then squared to fit.

OOPS !! .....
We only run one unit in the 12X14' room and hold near 55-60% pretty steady in 90* supplemented amb.room temps.

Thanks, are there any that shut off when the desired humidity range is met and turn back on when it drops? Thanks Andy

I dunno bout all that "Fancy Stuff" LOL!! but for our set-up a 10-15% jump for acouple hours wouldnt hurt anything. We just run ours on high and drop it to low or off on wet days. Our overall set up would blow the dress's up on 99.999% of the BCI Caresheet publishers out there.Anything around 50% or - 10% is good enough.Extended periods(8-10 hr) either way should be adjusted.

I have one that doesn't take any replacement filers. It's from hunter and called "cool mist" and "care free". I have a huge overkill one that holds 3 gallons but they make smaller models too. It'sd really easy to clean and when I had a problem the company replaced it with no problem.
