These are Rainer specials. Eastern X Hypo Brooksi. My adults are hets so the dark one is possibel het. If you remember when he first bred these we were all surprised the baby normals/hets were black. The Hypo should bloom into that maroon we all love in Hypo Brooksi kind of masked into the darker ground color,,,,,,but kind of tips or bleeds into the color scheme. It should speckle out a good bit too. My first clutch went bad, and the second only had these two go the distance. They seem plump and in great shape. I had 3 eggs from clutch one go full term, one baby was soooooo nice but kinked up so I froze it, and two others were full term but dead in the egg. Very happy to see these two guys. Jetzen named these muttlies, and though I hate the mutt term most people on this forum will know what type of snakes produced these. In my opinion these are really sharp Kings with some very nice variants, and I am sure some things we have not yet seen will pop up from this cross. Tom Stevens

Both are very nice Tom. I agree with Todd. I'm drawn to the black one. And that letter M or W, depending on which way your looking, on the back of the black one's head is awesome.
