Neat theyeri at sac show

FunkyRes Sep 12, 2006 02:29 PM

Well, neat for me anyway.
If I ever get into theyeri, I want a neonate like this one.

I was tempted to impulse buy him, but I decided it was better not to impulse buy anything, and I'd probably rather start with hatchlings.

Anyway, this guy was gorgeous.

Oh - and is it thayeri or theyeri?
The deli says theyeri, but that doesn't give very good good results ...

Please understand, I can only go by my experience, and I have lots of wild and captive experience with Thayeri. I also have experience with other montane kings, as well as crosses between them. I did them all.

That appears to be a very typical pyro/greeri or other pyro cross. There are many characteristics that indicate that.

Of course, thru generations of inbreeding/pattern breeding, you could get a pure thayeri that appears to be a cross. But then it too, would not represent a true thayeri.

Then consider in this day and age of unknown genetic origins, if it smells like, looks like, tastes like, feels like, then it is. And that is a cross. Cheers
