Nice looking snake.
I have always wanted to get one, but never got around to it. Hopefully I will one day.
I love the White Oaks. We used to see a lot on this forum but it has died down. I haven't gotten a good pic of mine in over a year, so I will try soon since he just shed. Love these guys, great display snakes. Mine has an additude but has never acted on it. Thanks for the pics!

Nice snake, I love it.
Does anyone breed them, or are they wild caught?
I'd love to get one.
John
I really don't have a history on mine with regards to captive bred vs. wild caught as I picked him up for 35$ at a show. There are definitely people breeding them, maybe just post a question as to who has them. Very underated snakes, although I will mention mine has a little bit of a rat snake attitude. Not a biter but just not real calm when being handled, at least relative to a corn snake. Good luck finding one, they are out there. Don
Gray Rats, if you ask me, are underrated. They seem to stay about the same color as they age, but there are exceptions. I have a pair of sisters, and one of them darkened quite a bit with age. I also have an unrelated male that is about tha same color since I got him as a very young pup.
I heard that D. Good breeds them. He posts from time to time on this forum.
Gray Rat Snakes:
Top: The two sisters, Normal Gray Rats.
Middle: Gulf Hammock Gray Rat
Bottom: Male Gray Rat, White Oak phase.
