I once had a neo racer that I had rescued from a pool filter. I decided to raise it and had to decide what to feed it. I found that it would readily accept minnows from my uncle's catfish pond, so I would net a dozen or so and freeze them, then thaw a couple for feeding time. The racer never rejected a minnow, but I'm wondering if i could have just kept feeding it minnows or if I needed to vary it's diet. It was about 5 inches long when I caught it and about 10 - 11 inches long when I released it.
