this is a 2 headed yellow belly produced by Gulf Coast Reptiles. It is one of the coolest animals I've ever seen.

I produced siamese twin hypos earlier this season. In past years RDR and others have had siamese twins as well. Evan Stahl

I'm not contending that you or Ralph or anyone else did not produce multiple snakes joined together at some point on there bodies. I'm thinking that Dicephalism and Conjoined Twins are not the same condition. Dicephalism is much more rare, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Dicephalism is not the same thing as "Conjoined Twins". As by definition there is quite a difference.

The term Conjoined twins means: two human beings joined at birth by living tissue.

The definition of dicephalism is: having two heads; two-headed.

As for the previous post, They might just be using the wrong terminology. I have not been able to find any information on conjoined twins outside of humans. I'm sure if I am wrong someone out there will let me know.

60k? LOL, I can not imagine anyone paying anywhere close to that for that snake. I may not even be willing to buy it for the normal market price of YB's. I supose there may be a few people out there that would pay extra for it but I think you are way off on your number.

I might be but there was a two headed black rat snake that sold for35K , it may not be worth any thing yo you but something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it . Any way just how many of them do you see in the classifieds here on king snakes or any other!!

Pfan151 Sep 13, 2006 10:01 AM

Do you have more info or a link about the rat snake I would like to read more about it. To me that snake is interesting to look at for a few minutes but that's about it JMO. It is pretty rare I will give you that, but I can't imagine paying 35K or 60k for a deformed pet.

charging people to look at oddities. That is where many of these end up, as oddities used to draw crowds and money. Can you imagine the draw of the killer two headed python.

pfan151 Sep 13, 2006 10:38 AM

Maybe a Burm or Retic, but I can't see how a 2 headed Ball python could draw much interest. But people can spend there money on whatever they want.
