rainbowsrus Sep 13, 2006 03:14 AM

Serious news down lower!!

Just in case you forgot what Daisey looks like:

Now for the news............

I just bought a trio of insanely bright adults including Daisey's parents!!!! These three are huge, weighing in at 6 to 7 lbs each!!

Snapped a few quick pics even though two are in shed, that's right, two of these are in shed!!!!!!!!

Dave,
...They look great. I don't think any of the three are quite as bright orange as Daisy but that second one may be close after it sheds.

Jeff, Daisey was a holdback animal so I expect she was the creme de la creme of the litter. I know you know how that goes I see it in every litter, some more like mom, some more like dad, some look like they got the short end of the stick and a small number (IMO too small) get the best of both. I believe number two is dad.

I promise to get much better pics when each sheds, those were quicky pics taken in the bathroom of all places. Not exactly the best lighting or background. I will need good ones for the website. Sounds like Monday pics in the making for some future week!

Just curious if those as Howard Leong's? Haven't seen him post an ad this year and don't remember one from last season either. Those are fantastic wherever they are from.

Linda

I just hope I end up with some color somewhere.

rainbowsrus Sep 13, 2006 06:52 PM

Yup, those "were" Howard's!! He missed out last year due to moving and this year the weather messed up breeding. He's only been breeding one each year alternating between the two. The female this year only dropped 5 live and a pile of slugs. So next year I may have a whole crop of daiseys. Probably not all of them, or even most, will look as good as she does but I'm hoping for some.

Thanks, You can imagine my excitement when Howard asked if I'd be interested in his trio knowing that was where Daisey came from. Daisey was his holdback from the 2004 litter so I'm certain she is one of, if not the, best baby from that litter. Howard offered them at a show and I had to wiat until Tuesday to talk price and make the deal.

As for deposits, 150% non refundable should do it

seriously, I had not even thought of it, say the word and I'll start a wait list for 2007 and you can have position # 2 (I always reserve # 1 for myself)

YES...YES...Yes...

I have a Beautiful Head Hunter Female, and I have been Searching and Searching for a High Orange Male and have not been able to find the "certian look" that I like, and a male that is even remotely close to daisy is exactly what I am hoping for...

Done! I now have a 2007 wait list and you are in the first spot for "available" babies. Put you down for a high orange daisey-esque male. I also added you to the 2006 list for the same thing but you are a bit (ok, a fair amount) further down.

I've seen your posts on the headhunter female, that is one really nice looking BRB.

This does feel a bit wierd (in a good way) I now have a wait list for 2007 and I most of my females have not yet dropped the 2006 litters.
