poss het pieds are out and......

I'm stoked. Out of 8 eggs, 1 went bad early in incubation, no veins when candled but it was attached to 2 others and I couldn't seperate it. The bad egg began to mold out of control around day 25. The mold never spread to any good eggs. 7 hatched perfectly on 9/11/06, my tribute clutch. The best news is that out of the 7 babies, all 7 are female. Can you ask for anything better than that? Yes you can, 5 of the 7 have nice marker bellies. I know the marker trait isn't a guarentee but when dealing with poss het's it's something to look for. Here are some pics. This clutch was sired by an 04 male from RDR.

Nice clutch josh

My het odds thus far

9.1 het albinos
11.2 het pieds

but on visuals I cannot complain, I hit nearly 75% on my odds this year with the best clutch being 7 spiders and 1 normal from a male spider to a normal 7 egg clutch, my first ever twins..... BTW. my spiders this year I procuced 3.9 out of 14 eggs......

I just hope we haven't used up our odd quota on this clutch, lol. We would like a heavy female load next year as well so we can build up our female morph count. Hoping for around 5 female spiders, 5 female pastel's, and as many female vanilla's as we can get. We should also possibly hatch out albino's, pied's and ghosts as well as het's for all those. God I'm getting excited already, lol.
