reptile_man7mm Sep 13, 2006 06:37 PM

I have finally started my flex watt for my racks, however i was gonna use duct tape, but read that it will turn gooey. So were can i get foil tape that is good to use for tape. I think lowes and Home Depot sells some type of foil tape, but im not sure if it will work.

thanks in advance

Let me preface myself my saying this is NOT U.L. approved.

For my setup I used 4" flew watt. 6" Aluminum flashing and 6" x 1/4" FIBERGLASS-NOT foam sill sealer.

top
6" aluminum flashing
4" flexwatt centered
6" fiberglass sill sealer
6" aluminum flashing
bottom

YOU MUST USE A STAT

You may not heat up the area below the setup, but flexwatt can and has melted many tubs.

Be safe
