I live in florida and I have about a 10 foot alligator in my pond with 2 babies and i was getting woried cause i was woried for my children and anybody who would get near the pond she was getting very aggesive very!! so i called in a professional wildlife team to remove her and relocate her. i said relocate but when they got there i was at work an like they killed her on the spott and dragged her out of my pond and i am not sure what they did with her then. my neighbor said she saw it and she was killed and i specifically asked for her to be relocated and i don't know what to do now. i was looking for an explanation and i keep calling the organization but they don't answer so i want to know if there was a reason she was killed.
thanx

Any "nuisance" alligator larger than 4' is destroyed in FL when the public complains about the animal, and FWC decides to deal with it. People in this state need to learn how to live with alligators, and to not fear them, but to respect them.

By calling the FWC and filing a report, you signed the alligator's death warrant, when all it was doing was protecting it's offspring.
