what snake?

turtledudee Sep 14, 2006 03:37 PM

ok... i have a spare 35 gallon tank and i want to get a snake.
i was wondering what snake would be good for this size tank.
i've dealt with garters and other small snakes, so i want onee over 2 1/2 feet.
Thanks in advance

Many recommendations I've seen for adult corns say a 20 gallon is good, so a 35 would certainly be fine. They tend to be 4-5 feet, so beyond the 2 1/2 you mentioned. I'd imagine a lot of kings and milks might fall into that range as well!
