ffemt413 Sep 14, 2006 08:19 PM

Hello,
I have a adult male thayeri king that is 4 yrs old. All of a sudden he has been regurgitating his meals. It first happened 2 weeks ago, then he blued and shed so i thought it was just one time prob. But yesterday he regurgitated his rat from Sunday. he acts ok when he is handled and couldn't wait to eat this last time. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I forgot to mention that I have not moved his tank or changed in any way for probably 3 yrs.
thanks,

Have you checked the temps lately? Once I suddenly had 3 or 4 previously healthy snakes regurge unexplainably. Turns out I had accidentally bumped the cord and the heat source for my rack was unplugged.

ok...Give him plenty of water for 2 weeks without feeding him. after 2 weeks feed him a mouse half or 3/4ths the size of his normal meal. If he doesn't keep it down then try the process over again. Works every-time for me
