Purple Suri again.......

Sorry I know you've seen pics of her(Grapesoda/her name) before.I just couldn't help posting these pics.I've been feeding her regularly one Lrg or Med rat simutaniously every 7 days for at least six months now.She should be peaking and ready by November when I just start to drop the temps. The natural light really shows off her real colors. Thanks for looking. Ash

...little lady. What kind of stats has she attained since you started the pre-breeding feed schedule? I hope she puts out for you this season.

thanks for the comment.I really don't know.I don't have a scale.I just wanted to pack the weight on slowly and steadily. That's why I feed her one large rat, then a medium one the following week.I never fed her when she was in shed. She also sheds every month and I have definately notice her size and girth,it has definately increased. When she started getting too many fat wrinkles I just skipped a week.I don't think it's possible to get a boa ready with super heavy feeding in 3 months.I think it takes at least six months of steady feeding.Just my beliefs. She still has this month and October.

I agree on the feeding issue...I don't think I will have my big girl ready until mid to late November.

she has put on a little girth and a couple of inches since this shot a month and a half ago

Wow she looks good.Just keep it weekly and steady. You can also start latter mid December, early January.I heard that B.C.C. go latter anyway.I can't comfirm this, due to the fact this season will be my first B.C.C. breeding attempt.I will post the question and draw on the Powers of the Collective.

I was just talking to Rob Tudehope via telephone a couple of nights ago about my animals. He seemed to be pretty optimistic about my girl this season but he suggested that I hold off on her til January. I was told to start cooling around Christmas and introduce in mid January. Of course I told him that impatience might get the best of my and I slide the male in with the female in November...lol... Perhaps I can split the difference and introduce in December
