They were all the rage a few years ago...

Snow is just not the new black anymore.

True, but I snow is still a very important bp. A double recessive aka 1/16 snake has alot of power in the bp world with such small clutches. Espically in the race for triple and quad hets.

Here is a Snowball hatching in 2003.

I can not beleive that this egg even hatched. If I did not have pictures of the condition of the egg, people would probably thing I was telling a lie.

This clutch was produced from beeding an Axanthic female poss het Snow X DH Snow male. I got 5 or 6 eggs that were all duds except 1. Only one egg from the entire clutch looked half way decent.

The egg as you can see was not properly formed and was one of those eggs that came to a point at the end. It was also very small. After about 30 days the egg developed some mold. I wiped it down everytime the mold would build up on it. About two weeks before the egg was due to hatch, I was going to through it away. It was just getting too moldy. I convinced myself to just leave it there and wait.

Well sure enough, out came this beauty on day 54.....

It was a male to boot.

Check out the condition of that egg. The moral of the story is to NOT through out your bad looking eggs...
