dragon eggs lost

hey i have some bad news my beardie layed her first clutch of eggs about two weeks ago and a couple of days after they were layed i lost all 17 of them i read somewhere that this is common for a beardies first time. THat the eggs just arent fertile, is this true and will i have to worry about that kind of thing again when she lays.
