Is this safe?

I'm moving my boa into another tank, and right now I have no money for "decorations". She's a caulker cay boa and loves to climb. I have gathered some oak limbs from outside, and spanish moss. I'm going to bake them at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, is this sufficient enough to kill all the germs/parasites? What else could I do, if not? Or should I just ditch the whole idea?

You got space in your freezer ?
Deep freezing for a week or two is far better then bakeing.
Hobby/Craft stores sell artificial folage etc, that wont harbour bacteria from defacations.

forget the moss, you can't really clean it well enough. For the branches you can bake them or microwave them but there is no guarantee that you'll kill everything and it's hard to clean later. What you can do is cover the branches with a sealing waterproof finish. That way it will seal in any bacteria etc. and you'll be able to clean it well when you clean cages too.

Godd luck,
Caden
