Is my AFT shedding?????

alieliza Aug 05, 2003 01:12 PM

I have had my fat tail, ripple, for less than a month now. I picked him up at the White Plains show on july 20th. In the past few weeks, twice has he turned all white, and his skin looked like it was about to come off.... as if he had a layer of loose skin over his body. What is curious, at least to me, is that within the same day, or the next day, he is looking back to normal with no skin to be seen in his tank. Do they shed twice in three weeks? Is it a quick shed like that, without any help from me? Do they eat the skin? He has a humid hide, over a UTH, so maybe thats the key? Someone please answer my questions.
thanks
