"ROCK" on!!

Well, I didn't like my multi-level hide because it didn't look natural enough, so I built a new one. It was my first one, after all, so it was a good learning experience. It took 2 cake pans - one cut in half to make part of the bottom and the top. I really deformed the top one to get it too look less boxy. I got it to fit in the corner over the heating pad, so they can hide and warm their bellies, and if they get too warm, they can climb to the upper level.

Anyway, my geckos have been climbing all over it. They seem to really like it. I am going to build more, and maybe some "bridges" between the tops of the hides. They have seemed much more active since the addition of the multi-level hides.

Here are some pics:

Very nice Kristin! Nothing like that personal touch to make your geckos at home.

Very nice personal touches. I really like the multi level idea as well.

Nice job! What did you make it out of? Any pointers for those who have been inspired by your work? I'm not very creative, but I'd be willing to give something like that a try.
