Hi Guys,
I have it and use it alternately with parazap. It contains some of the same ingredients as parazap. Don't ask me where I got the info on parazap because I don't remember(it's that 50 yr. old thing)LOL. This is the list of ingredients
umpkin seed, black walnut, cloves, wormwood, black curnin, thyme, kieselguhr, and papain. I'm not sure how effective it is.
Take care,
Karen
Don't know how the smiley got in there. Pumpkin is what I was trying to type.
Karen
i think im gonna give it a shot

When I ordered my Para Zap and I took out that little jar I was shocked! $20 is a lot of money for that little bit of stuff. The only reasons could be,, no competition, or some of the ingredients are very expensive? Or both.
I hope they find a way to bring the price down.
Joel R
23 bones for that little bottle, ill give it a shot, and post the results

When you don't buy things in 100 lb quantity and you mix each batch yourself...it's obviously going to cost more.
Let alone jars, labels etc, website.
I will be EVER GRATEFUL to Val for:
**Pioneering, being the first to care enough about our dragons to work for years to get the ingredients together that work.
**fight all the crap he had to take at first before he proved it worked. (people suggested it would kill their dragons.)
I'm remaining loyal, you use so very little it lasts forever.
If Natures Zone works, that's great. I only wish val could have pattented his product before a big company came in and took his glory.

i totally understand the costs of making something like that, and this wasnt in any way to hurt parazap or its maker, but rather just to try and alternative, this is cheaper but it may not be better, gonna give it a try and see for myself, cost definatly comes into play, with all the animals i have i really have to weigh the costs, but as always the quality of the product i provide them is priority. Parazap is still first on the list of reccomendations as its been tried and proven, but need to give this other one a shot.

I totally understand about costs etc. I only charge $35 for shipping yet shipping costs usually around $46 and that doesn't include the shipping supplies that I have already bought. It's part of the territory and something that has to be done.
But the fact remains, it's a lot of money for a small amount of product. If he is getting a good response from the product, then it would be wise to buy in bulk and start making a better profit and perhaps, pass the savings on to the customers. That's a choice that is totally up to them. Maybe too much work, or just not a big enough market? I don't know.
I'm not going to take this an further,, It was just my opinion on the price, I'm not making a personal attack on them for their price, they do have to make a profit or at least come out even.

I think the vet said it is the wormwood, and black walnut that has been used for thousands of years to kill parasited naturally.

Mystical Dragons
I was going to mention that I also heard the wormwood and blackwalnut were the ingredients that killed the worms.
Karen
I use it every month as a parasite deterrent. So far so good. Last check up was clean, and they all are very healthy. I brought it to my vet last time I went in and he said it had the same basic ingredients as the parazap, but it was a lot cheaper then what parazap costs. I got mine for a little over 6 bucks I believe at the pet store, I know for a fact it didn't cost over 12 bucks. Not sure how concentrated it is compared to the parazap though. My dragons have in the past been on Albon to treat coccidia and since have been supplemented with the worm guard tea.

i usually have parazap in the house but we go through 23 dollars worth of that stuff quickly, thats a tiny container, so im gonna give this stuff a shot and see how it does. Glad i found someone that has used it with good results

My Main Herps-
1.2 Bearded dragons (Ralph, Artemis, Cheech)
1.0 Veiled Chameleon (Chiquito)
1.0 Black Racer Snake (Chong)
2.2 Eastern Box Turtles (Athena, Mercury, Gizmo, Galapago)
0.0.2 Leopard Geckos (Nee, Unnamed)
1.0 Ball Python (Carson)
Personally, my dragons eat as usual when I dust with worm guard. On the other hand when I use parazap they eat very poorly. Not, that I'm knocking parazap by any means. I don't think they like the scent.
Karen
I've tried making the drink with juice (raspberry and grape) and they still won't drink more than a few drops. Forget the dusting, they won't take a cricket no matter how hungry they are.
I hope this new stuff tastes better... still Thanks Val for coming out with Para-Zap.
