What supplements do you use to dust her insects, etc. with? Do any of them or anything that you use to gutload the insects with contain preformed vitamin A....or are all the vitamin A supplements from a beta carotene source of vitamin A?

i load my feeders with the same veggie mix as i feed the dragons and i alternate calcium and the sandfire vitamins with live foods not sure about the vitamin a but i will look later, my adult male has the same diet

ok the vitamins are t-rex dragon dust developed at sandfire
it just says vitamin A acetate and my calcium powder contains no vitamin A

Preformed vitamin A can build up in the dragon's system causing an overdose. Vitamin A from a beta carotene source doesn't build up. Since the vitamin A in the supplement you are using is acetate (which the following site says is a preformed source) that could be the reason for your dragon's neck. (There could be other reasons that I'm not aware of too.)

"The principal nutritional supplement forms of preformed vitamin A are retinyl palmitate and retinyl acetate. "

" Bearded Dragons are very susceptible to vitamin A toxicity. This is characterized by swelling of the throat, bloating, and lethargy."

???

Sagging beard? Never heard of that one, but what makes you think that your dragon is developing a problem? Has she stopped eating, eaten less, been lethargic? She looks fine to me. Not all dragons are going to look alike.

i was just noticing that it looked differnt from my other dragons and from the pics i see ,she dsent show any sighns of strees or illness, but she has been in burmation(spelling) for a while now. hoping she will wake up soon
it just to me seemed like she had some extra beard, not swollen just extra and thought i would get some of your thoughts, i just try to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary to help in monitoring my beardys health
