infection?

i have a male adult beardie, 4 years old. he has a yellow secretion coming from between his scales on his tail. the scales around the area are slightly discolored as well. any ideas?

If it is consistant, I would take your dragon to a vet. Only thing that should come out from the vent is poop..though it may just be sperm coming out, especially if his hemipenes are also exposed at times. But to be on the safe side, take him to a vet. He can easily tell if it's infection, diarhia or sperm.

yea im taking him to the vet thursday. the 'infection' is actually not around the vent. it is along the top part of the tail. he is actually shedding right now, but the shedding skin on that part is stuck to him. it is yellow and raw looking underneath.
