albinos are very hard to tell when they are in shed.

the best way is they get sorta dull looking and the eyes not so redish. Also less active can help you figure it out, I have had a few bad sheds with mine cause I didn't know he was shedding.

After you've had him a while you will be able to notice the faint color change before a shed. It's when you look at him and you say to yourself " his colors aren't as bright as they used to be". That when you need to spray/raise humidity. Like the other response said, he will become less active and remain in his hide even after dark. By the way, he looks great. Joe

thats really a nice albino. i would get a better hide like the ones that are cave like. there eyes get a little pinkish white when they go into shed. good luck.

I can be hard to tell. I mostly look at they eyes - they look kind of like cataract, but only for a short period. When they are young, the skin is dulls up and it's easier to see. However, when they become adults and start to fade, then it's more difficult.

Congrats! Nice looking animal.

I can tell if they are in shed by looking at their belly. The belly scales seem to show it better in the early stages of a shed cycle, even before eyes cloud (this applies to all of my snakes). I don't have an Albino Ball, but I would assume it is the same, it works for my Sharp and my Kahl.

Congrats on the new neo!
