How old were the oldest breeders (male and female)
you've ever had still produce a viable litter?

I've read they'll live around 20 years, but I do wonder how long they will continue to produce babies.

Dave,
...I have two males that are still active breeders and the imported female that produced babies in august here that are my oldest producers. All three of them were imported adults when I got them in 1992. They could be over 20 years old. I think there are a few breeders in Florida still producing babies with captive born BRBs that are over 20.

my original breeders all CBB (two from 1993 and four from 1994 including Lefty) should all have 5 plus productive years left in them, maybe even 10!
