if catnip is poisonous to igs? I bought a new cat tree that
is carpeted but has catnip in it.

Catnip is mildly poisonous. That's what gets your cat "high". I have had cats ingest a fair amount of it and got spazzy. I use a cat tree in my iggs enclosure. My best guess is that it probbly won't bother it if it eats it. My concern is from the oils that come from the leaves that make catnip. I don't if the oil would bother it or not. It could though. I would seriously clean the cat tree before offering it to your igg. Just to be on the safe side.
