I have what I believe to be a false map turtle it was caught in central NY I was womdering if anyone has pics or any info on them i would appreciate it, I'm not new to turtles

Due to locationn and unless it was an escapee pet, the only possibility would be a Common Map Turtle (Graptemys geographica). Hopefully this picture uploads.

it definately is not a common map turtle, it doesn't have the yellow spots, it has two yellow lines on the top of the head behind the eyes, I'm not sure how it got there and know it is not a native species I was just wondering a lil about it
