new babies!

I went to the Kansas City herp show this weekend and finally found house snakes (that weren't albino)! Got a very good deal on three little babies, which the guy said had been eating f/t small pinkies with no problem. I'm planning to feed, just a bit worried about how small they are--about the size of a little baby corn (you can see in the pic how small). They won't pop will they? I just think they are really neat snakes and I was very excited to find them, as they were the only thing I was looking for... of course I came home with a cape gopher as well.... anyway, here they are, any comments or thoughts would be much appreciated.

Nice. My first house snake was also very tiny. Barely the width of my pinkie fingernail....
Every pinkie I tried was just too big for her, even after trying to crush the skull down a bit and such (icky).

So what I did was go to the worst petstore in my area and asked to see their pinkies.
What I figured was these guys would buy the cheapest product possible and still charge the same price as a big ol' chubby pink. Sure enough they had a number of "preemies" in the bag...they must have been pulled from mom the moment they popped out, they were so tiny.
After feeding a couple of those, she grew big enough to take the normal sized pinks...

all 3 of them, and now there are little pinkie-shaped bulges and they look ridiculous and I am thrilled :-D
