Solid black? (zero non-black coloratio)

clifford Sep 18, 2006 05:57 PM

Just curious how common (or if they exist at all) animals with zero non-black coloration of any kind are.

Of my nine hatchlings this year, all had at least some degree of white coloration, even if it was very faint and right underneath it's mouth (so infrequently seen). 95% of everyone asking about my hatchlings have specified that they want solid black animals.

I'd also be very interested in seeing a chin/throat photo of a zero coloration animal for comparison purposes if someone has one hanging around.

Thanks,

Cliff

Never heard of one being found or bred. They would be the ultimate in Indigos, if it ever happens, IMO...

I have to agree with Carl. I have a Black faced Indigo from Robert Seib. But the throat is white. If you take him outside in the sun you can see small tints of rust.

It's a good thing I read "ALL" of your post before replying because I was just about to call you a liar! Either that or break your heart by telling you that pic wasn't an indy. LOL
