Hey guys, I had time to take a few shots of some awesome easterns that AC sent me. Sorry but the flash washed out the red. Thanks again AC, they are doing great.

melanistics are solid bk.any of the colors can get bk as adults .no way to know if they will get mel. or not.

Sorry for not being more clear, it just came from melanistic parents...so high chance of being melanistic. I have seen a lot of them with that coloration as babies turn black. Thanks for the info though.

They both have been taking strong...very strong scented pinkies every week. A couple of times I had to let them bite a frog and then slip in the pinkie to let the frog go. bait and switch always works if they get picky. I only keep one live tree frog for this last method. I got my other eastern eating unscented by using this method. I only have to wet the mouse down for him. He takes hoppers now.
