Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of this snake, I have a terrible phobia of snakes so needless to say-a camera was not on my mind. I do not believe in the senseless killing of anything, but this snake is living in some plants on my front porch. It is about 18 inches to 24 inches long, it is dark gray or black and it has reddish diamond shapes on its back. Not all the way to its tail, which is narrow and skinny with no rattler, just the same color as its body. It is about an inch around at the largest part of it. and the head looks to be a narrow triangular shape, but I could be wrong because I really do not want to get that close. I will try to get a pic, but I can't promise. It's enough for me just to walk out the door to my car. I need to know if this is a poisonous snake or not. Either way he needs to be relocated-SOON. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
