AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BABIES EVERYWHERE!!!!!

A while back I rescued 3 eastern garters from different places. Today two of them gave birth!!!!! (One right in front of me!!!!) I now have 24 BABIES!!!! What the heck do I do with them???? What do I feed them!!!! ???? They're TINY!!!! About 5 inches head to tail!!! Now what????

2 Iguanas, 3 Beardies, 1 Saharan/Nigerian Uromastyx, 1 Leo, 1 African Fat Tail, 1 Columbian Rainbow Boa, 1 Fla Garter Snake, 1 Banded California King Snake, 1 Corn Snake, 3 Fire Belly Toads, 1 Eastern Painted Turtle, 1 African Sideneck, 2 Horses, 4 cats, 1 dog, and I'm still not done.....

The first thing you should do is remove them from the cage, otherwise there is a chance that their mom will eat them. As for their new home, the small to medium critter keepers that are sold at most pet stores are a good choice. For food, I started all of my baby garters on feeder guppies. They're the perfect size.

It will better their chance of survival.They need time to find food sources places to hide etc.You don't want any kind of disease from captive herps such as respiratory infection spreading to the wild population.
