OK, PLEEEEEZe tell me this is a bloodred

HerpZillA Sep 19, 2006 03:44 PM

This is the baby I bought this summer, along with a young male. NOT suppose to be the babies papa. She looked like the best female in the bunch at the show. So tell me the true, as always,, is it a bloodred?

Oh I found out what a tulip means on a digital camera. On my A-1 macro is marked MACRO. I hate universal symbols.

Her sides were more silver when I first got her. I had not noticed the changes going on, till I took these pictures.

I just hope it is a female. I picked up probing easy enough, but I still can not pop well. I switched to my index finger instead of my thumb and I seem to get more results. Thumb tip is kind of flat, so I do not seem to get the push roll up action I need. Plus I'm not to aggressive. I'd rather be wrong and have a good snake.

Thanks for the nice comments. I got her a while back for $40.

I think my goals for corns are bloods, even if not great ones, I love the variation as long as they are very hypo (as in no black) But I also love teh hypo bloods as in brighter reds.

Zig Zags too, I would like to try to breed a zig zag that might go off the back onto the sides. Extreme zig zags.

And Abbotts. I plan to visit some people in Texas. I 'd love to drive by Don S and have a few drinks so I can deal with an advantage on some of his fine stock. (OH, I do not drink, my bottle will be iced tea)

OH, Don don't read this.

To many morphs for me to keep up with, but those are some of my favs, I'd like to breed.

Thanks also,, I was worried as the belly was not red. The head was classic bloodred. But my hypo bloodred that got me into bloodreds had a solid red belly as I recall. She unfortunately died after her first clutch.

How much did you pay for that thing?
Send it over to my house without delay!

$40 top notch US dollars. Same deal $60 for the male you saw. the guy wanted $110,, then $105, I stood there for almost 5 minutes with 5 20's in my hand not moving. People actually started to watch and the guy was so upset. lol He finally caved to my offer. I felt bad. But I'm over it now lol

People beat me for a buck or 2 all the time at the shop.

I may go to Columbus next month? Cleveland is kind of a left over show. See if I can find something good. Let me know if you want to go. I know a guy named Yukon Jack down there.
