Please give me info on Blood Pythons!!

amtz_zero Sep 19, 2006 03:54 PM

Ii want to buy a blood python but I've heard that they have a bad temper. I had a reticulated python before that wasn't too hard to tame. Will this be the same or worse? Any info helps. (P.S. it's a sumatran blood python that I want, are those any different than other blood pythons?)

I've had my pair for a little over 6 months now and never had a problem. They were a little jumpy at first, but never bit me. I've just made it a point to handle them slowly and carefully, and they've been fine. The captive born ones seem to be gradually changing the reputation that the wild-caught ones have earned.
